Today is Thursday January 7, 2010.
We will have menu groups.
We will have snack and recess.
We will use our new reading boxes!
We will have lunch and recess.
We will have read aloud.
We will have writing workshop.
We will continue exploring the rainforests.
We will respect each other.
We will have fun!!

Tomorrow is movie day. See Whitney's post below about the movie choice. Both of the top two choices are available. There has been some talk of having a new vote with only those choices.

Our class has brought in 32 plastic bottles for the terrariums. Thank you for bringing them in! If you find more before Monday, please bring them in. If we don't use them, we will recycle them.

There will be a class meeting tomorrow. Whitney has a proposal, and others can bring proposals, too.

Even though it is cold, it is very dry, and Whitney wants to really encourage everyone to go out for recess. Please remember to bundle up!

The class reviewed the "Things We Want To Learn About Rain Forests" that they created Monday.
