A Couple of Annoucnements
Hi All!
Just a reminder that we will be hosting Chess and Jump Rope/Hulu Hoop club tomorrow from 3:30 to 4:30.
Also, on Thursday many of us will be building replicas of some Wonders of The World. We are planning to do this with gluing together sugar cubes. We could use donations of sugar cubes if you happen to have any extras.

Spirit Week
Next week is the school-wide Spirit Week. The kids are encouraged to dress up every day with the varying themes. Here is a run-down for those who would like to participate:

**RAFFLE: Tomorrow is the last day to bring in donations for the Alternative Transportation Raffle Basket!!! Please put your donations in the envelope or box in Whitney's room, or contact Leigh Ann if you prefer (leighannkennedy (at) yahoo.com).
For the art and architecture unit, the students will divide up into groups with the three 1-2 teachers. Beth's class is going to do painting, Brian's is doing stained glass, and Whitney is doing the ancient wonders, including sketching them. This will be a two week block in the afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday. The students got a chance to request which one they wanted to do, but not everyone could have their first choice. We will find out today what group each person will be in.
March 19th is the last day for yearbook cover submissions (they extended the deadline for one more week).
Next week is spirit week.
After spirit week is SPRING BREAK!! We have TWO weeks of spring break.
The marble jar is almost full, and we might hold off on our special day until March 19 which is Gigi's birthday and the last day before Spring Break.
Tomorrow is jump rope and chess club after school. If your child is planning to attend, please contact Whitney either in person or send an e-mail (whitney (at) trilliumcharterschool.org) and let him know. You can pick your child up at 4:30 or come and attend the club with them!
The diabetes testing kit is still missing (Luna's sister Meadow lost it). It is a small black case like a camera case, or even smaller. If you see it, please get it back to the desk ASAP!!

Tomorrow at the All School Meeting the upperschool is proposing a dance for St. Patrick's Day and wants to use $50 of the All School Meeting's money.

Marley's mother Georgie and Whitney have been working on some clubs to meet after school. Next Wednesday March 10th after school from 3:30 - 4:30 will be Chess Club inside, and Jump Roping and Hula Hooping Club outside. Parents could pick up at 4:30, or come and stay during the club time.

The seeds being sold in the lobby are for Rob's class that came up with an idea to raise money for the redesign of the front parking lot. The class is learning all about running a business. If you need some seeds, stop by the lobby to pick some up! One dollar for each packet!

**Tomorrow is picture day for our class!** The 1-2 will have pictures between 12:30 & 2:30, so some of us might have to go in a little early from lunch recess to get our pictures taken.
We've been together for 100 days this year, so for sharing on Friday, we will share 100 of something (like 100 Legos, or 100 marbles, or anything else).
