Today is Thursday October 14th 2010.

We will do our morning challenges.

We will do a science experiment about meteors.

We will have snack and recess.

We will finish our experiment.

We will have reading workshop.

We will have lunch and recess.

We will have math groups.

We will have read aloud.

We will put the finishing touches on our solar system maps.

We will have writing workshop.

We will work to keep our room clean.

We will have fun!!

Announcements:

Whitney thinks we should work extra hard today to keep our room clean and take care of our spots after snack and lunch. Yesterday, someone left a fruit snack out on a chair. It sat in the sun during recess and got really gooey. Then Whitney accidental sat on it during reading workshop. It was not fun.

There will be a class meeting tomorrow. Please fill out a proposal form or prepare to go up a level beforehand.

Tomorrow will be a school wide service day. The 1st and 2nd graders will be spending some time in the morning cleaning up Patton Square Park. We get a lot of use out of it and want to give something back!
