As many of you know, we will be having a class tea party this Friday as voted on by our class meeting. We are encouraging students to dress up (the kids seem pretty excited about this aspect, but it is in no way obligatory).
I have put up a sign up sheet outside the classroom for anyone who would like to contribute to the party. I am more than willing to provide the tea and snacks as I see this as a totally awesome group building occasion. On the other hand, many of the kids expressed interest in providing food/tea to the occasion (Pretty cool since this came from the students themselves). Do what you feel you can, but no pressure.
I will do my best to provide plates, cups, etc. Many students said they would like to bring in their own dishes. I think that is great but do not want to run the risk of any broken dishes and cups. Either way, I am sure we will have a delightful time. Sorry about the short notice on all of this, we've been working crazily as a whole in preparation of our upcoming plays!
