2nd/3rd Potluck

Dear Parents of Super Second and Thrilling Third Graders,

You are invited to a "Transition" potluck! The current third grade students and families, along with the 3-4-5 advisors would like to welcome our incoming 3rd graders to the Intermediate class, build relationships and help answer questions on TUESDAY, May 24 from 6:30-8:00.

Our incoming third graders will have already shadowed in a potential advising classroom (Shadow days are May 12, 16 and 17), and will meet again with current third graders and advisors to play group games at the potluck. Meanwhile, present 3rd grade parents will field questions about the "intermediate" transition, communication and journey of a third grader.

Our evening will begin with a potluck at 6:30. Please bring your own plates and utensils for your family as well as the assigned "dish". If your last name begins:
A-I: please bring a main dish or salad to share
J-R: please bring a dessert to share
S-Z: please bring a drink to share
At 7:00 students will play group games together while parents meet for a "3rd grade Q & A", and at 7:30 our intermediate advisors will swap, so parents and students have the opportunity to meet, discuss and play games with ALL advisors.
