Moving Up Ceremony

For those who can make it, we will be having a Moving Up Ceremony tomorrow at 11:00 followed by some play time at the park. Originally I had planned to have a sleep over tonight at the school, but I just wasn't able to get everything organized in time. I apologize for this. I am going to try and coordinate something next week or the night before the official last day of school.

Reminder About Tomorrow Night

Dear Families,

As you may already know, Friday, June 3, is our final performance and project night of the year.
It is from 5:30 until 7:00.
It will be a potluck.
We will begin performances at 5:30 and then eat about 6:30 or when performances are done.
We will finish up with a couple of community dances.
Projects will be on display for your viewing during after performances are finished. We have been studying the 1870's or westward movement in the United States through the eyes of different ethnic groups.
Please sign up for a potluck dish. It can relate to this theme or simply be your family's favorite dish to share.
Please plan on helping with clean up too!

Please remember that we are having a potluck/Performance/Project night tomorrow here at school at 5:30 tomorrow evening. There is a potluck sign up sheet outside of the classroom.

Talent Show auditions are Monday after school.

The End Of The Year

Hi all-

I am very saddened to say that due to my upcoming endeavors in school that I will be missing our final seven days school. I feel absolutely awful about this. We have a sub set up for all of those days and I will be working closely with her to make sure the end of the year is rewarding for our students. With that in mind, I would like to have our Moving Up Ceremony on Friday June 10th, my unofficial last day at Trillium. More details regarding The Ceremony will come shortly. Mitchel passed a proposal to have a sleep over at the school before the year's end. It is my hope that we can honor this with a sleep over on Thursday June 9th to lead into our Moving Up Ceremony. This is quite an undertaking and I am reaching out to all of your for help and guidance in making this a wonderful event. We will need chaperones (both overnight and just to help out before the kids hit the rack), help with food, and help with coordinating activities. I have done this in this past and it has been an incredible experience. If you are able to pitch in, please let me know. Once again, I am very sorry for the early departure. Thanks for the wonderful year.
