Just a reminder that we have a field trip this Thursday to OMSI and could use at least one more driver. Also, please remember to send your child with his or her booster seat if he or she requires one.

There is a conference sign up sheet outside the classroom. If the schedule doesn't work for your family, please let me know. We can also meet after the break.

A message from TFT:
Fellow Parents and Trillium Community:

You have probably received the letter from Genevieve regarding the fund-raising auction that is coming in May. She was right when she said that this is our "All Hands On Deck" moment.

This auction will be an opportunity for us to stretch outside the Trillium community and increase the depth of our fund-raising. Imagine what would happen if people from all over Portland -- not just parents -- were vested in the success of our scrappy little school. Imagine a one-night event that added $20,000, $30,000 or even $40,000 to the coffers of the school. Even more.

This level of support cannot happen from the pockets of us parents alone. It can only happen, as Genevieve said in her letter, through the of sweat equity that you and I are willing to supply.

I am hoping that each of you will look around you and find ways to contribute to the auction. Can you volunteer? Can you encourage network of friends and co-workers to come? Can you put up a poster at work or obtain that special item for the auction? Can you sell tickets? There are a hundred ways to contribute. You just have to do it.

This is our time. Please, contact me with your pledge.
