Dear Trillium Community-

It is with a very heavy heart that I am letting you all know that I will not be returning to Trillium next year. Although I am leaving Trillium I am not leaving the field of education. I am enrolling in a Masters program here in Portland and am excited about growing as a teacher. This has been a very difficult choice as I cannot overstate how wonderful and inspiring this year's class has been. To see this year's second graders come into their own after being with them for three school years has been truly amazing. It breaks my heart that I will not be with our first graders as they continue their educational journey next year.
Finally, I want to thank all of you for your support, for creating such a wonderful community at Trillium, and for sending the absolute greatest kids to our school. I know I will always look back at the last four years as some of the best of my life. I will miss my time with your students greatly.

Remember, no school on Monday.

I posted about The Talent Show yesterday, but the committee for The Show is still firming up the date. I will let you know of the exact date as soon as I hear about it.

We will be having Pet Day on Friday from 8:45 to 9:15ish. So far I have only heard from a couple of people who would like to bring in a pet. If your student would like to share a pet, please speak with me beforehand so we can talk about guidelines.
